Bios Mod Silicon Image 4279 für A7N8X Deluxe Rev2.0

Hey Folks,

besitze selber ein A7N8X Deluxe Rev2.0. Bin auch sehr zufrieden.
Hatte aber in letzter Zeit häufiger Probleme mit Disk-Errors und hab mir mal
vorsorglich das neue Bios von Silicon Image 4279 auf das Board geloaded.

Was ja von Asus nicht mehr up to date ist letzte Version im Bios 1008 ist 424x.

Also falls ihrs brauchen könnt. Könnt ihr es hier downloaden.

Vorsicht ist nur für A7N8X Deluxe Rev2.0 oder neuer geeignet.

Übernehme keinerlei Haftung falls ihr euer Board zerschiessen solltet.

eine Anleitung gefunden, wie man in ein Award BIOS z.B. ein neueres BIOS für den SATA Controller packen kann. Mit dem Tool hab ich das BIOS meines ASUS A7N8X Delux (rev.1) Mainboards mit dem neusten SATA Bios von Silicon Image ausgestattet.

Hier ein Auszug aus dem Forum: (bei gelegenheit werde ich das noch mal Übersetzten

As long as your board uses an Award BIOS, the procedure should be the same. You'll need to use a little DOS program called CBROM:

1. Download v2.15 and extract it to an empty folder on your c: drive (ex. C:BIOS).
2. Extract the SATA BIOS (ex. 4276.bin -> should be around 40KB) and board BIOS (ex. 1013uber.bin) to that same empty folder
3. Open a command prompt window and type:
a) cd c:BIOS (this changes the directory to the empty folder you created)
b) cbrom215 1013uber.bin /pci release (this executes cbrom and removes the old SATA BIOS from your board BIOS)
c) b (This is the PCI module where the SATA BIOS is located within the board BIOS, it should be PCI [A] or PCI [B]...most likely [B])
d) cbrom215 1013uber.bin /pci 4276.bin (This inserts the new SATA BIOS)
To see if it worked, type:
cbrom215 1013uber.bin /d (this displays all the modules of your board's BIOS)
You should see the updated SATA BIOS at the "PCI ROM[b]" module.

Das SI 3112 BIOS könnt ihr hier downloaden.

Für alle die auch ein Asus A7N8X Delux haben, hab ich hier noch ein Über Bios 1009 mit dem SI3112 BIOS 4.2.76.

Gemoddete "Über BIOSe" für einige Mainboards kann man sich hier downloaden.
